Third wave coffee - have you heard this term? Even if not, you're probably enjoying it. Third wave refers to high-quality, artisan coffee appreciated as a beverage as nuanced as wine. Think of the second wave as coffee as experience (Starbucks) and the first wave as coffee as convenience (Folgers). By comparison it's easy to see that third wave coffee is everywhere these days. We owe that in no small part to Darleen Scherer. Back in 2002 she founded Gorilla Coffee, one of the first micro-roasters to land in NYC. Their emphasis on craft coffee set a trend that has since filtered into cities large and small across the country. In 2015 Darleen took her love of beautiful coffees, progressive sourcing, and relentless innovation to start a new project, Supercrown Coffee Roasters. This duo highlights what Supercrown does best - roasted in season coffee sourced from some of the most renowned growing regions in the world.

- Kaleidoscope Blend - Cupping notes: Chocolate, Toffee + Peach. 50% Colombia El Mirador + 50% Ethiopia Adado. Named for the ever-changing aspect of this seasonal blend, Kaleidoscope pairs two or three of our current favorite coffees to create a blend with balance and depth. It’s great on its own but also pairs beautifully with milk. Smooth, bright & delicious.
